J. Andrew Fine has been practicing law since 1997.  A specialist in international law, he also has extensive experience representing clients in civil matters, criminal matters, government investigations, and employment-related cases.  In addition, Andrew has helped hundreds of clients, big and small, with structuring of on-shore and off-shore businesses and with other general corporate matters.  Andrew's philosophy is that every client, large or small, is entitled to top-notch professional representation at a reasonable price.

Andrew's father was a judge, and grew up in the legal system, spending many hours observing court before he was even in high school.  He attended law school at the University of Florida, where he concentrated on trial practice and won the Book Award in Trial Advocacy.  After graduating, Andrew  started out as an Assistant State Attorney, then began work at a high-volume criminal defense / civil litigation firm in Gainesville.  After handling hundreds of cases in a diverse range of courts all over Florida, Andrew left to work for a major Florida law firm, primarily in the area of civil litigation.

In 2001, Andrew opened his own firm and began to handle international cases involving clients and claims in the USA, Central America, the Caribbean, Russia, and the EU.  He also worked as a consultant in Brussels and Paris for Top-10 and Magic Circle  international law firms.  Finally, Andrew began teaching Legal Reasoning and Writing courses at law firms and at Universities in Europe. 

Andrew currently represents a diverse range of clients, from individuals, to small business owners, to international banks, to large multinational companies.  This diversity is his greatest strength: with his unique breadth and depth of experience in a wide variety of cases, Andrew is always equipped to help you or to refer you to someone who can provide the counsel that you need.
